This page explains how project details are handled by Cabinet Makers Ballarat.

Information you submit

The enquiry form asks for your name, suburb, contact details, project type, project stage and a description of the work. We also record the page used to submit the enquiry, a submission reference and your agreement to be contacted. Do not include payment details, identity documents, health information or unrelated sensitive information.

Why the information is used

Enquiry information is used to review the project, respond to you and, where suitable, discuss a quote with a contractor. With the permission you give in the form, details may be shared with a contractor for this project. Submission does not enrol you in a marketing newsletter.

Website analytics

When analytics is enabled, PostHog records page paths and interactions such as quote-button clicks and form success or failure. This build does not send the contents of enquiry fields to analytics, and session recording and automatic form capture are disabled. The analytics integration uses memory-only browser persistence.

Enquiry delivery and retention

Enquiries are delivered to the website operator’s configured storage or enquiry system. Access should be limited to people handling the project. Information should be kept only while required for the enquiry and related administration. Ask the operator about the delivery provider and retention arrangements applying to your enquiry.

Access, corrections and removal

You can request a copy, correction or removal of your enquiry information. Provide the submission reference if you have it and enough information to identify the request, without sending unnecessary sensitive details.

Use the contact form and identify the request as a privacy enquiry. The site operator must publish a direct contact address before public launch.
